KOSHER BISON MEATBALLS
No spaghetti night is complete without meatballs. Bison meatballs are a delicious alternative to beef, and go well with a homemade marinara and spaghetti, on a meatball sandwich or just on their own!
Ingredients:- 1 lb ground bison
- 1/2 cup italian seasoning breadcrumbs
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
- 1⁄2 yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed and finely minced.
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400F
- 2. Mix bison, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic and Worcestershire sauce. Be sure to mix when ground bison is cold– this will make the meatballs hold better.
- 3. Quickly form bison mix into meatballs. Place meatballs on a parchment/foil lined baking sheet at least 1 inch apart.
- 4. Place baking sheet in middle rack of the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are browned with an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
- 5. Allow meatballs to cool and enjoy!
